It is not necessary for you to be home, but please feel welcome to be there if you choose. All of our staff are friendly and it’s nice to build a rapour with you when you are there, Efficient Cleaning team members are honest, and trusted. For ease of access we suggest that you provide us with a key and necessary security arrangements ( based on individual needs).
Your key will be tagged with a code for our reference; it is not identified with your name or address. The key is given to your cleaning crew on the day of the cleaning and returned to the office where it is kept secure between appointments.
Please ensure that it is in “off”, or unarmed, position prior to our arrival. You may also provide us with the code and steps necessary for us to turn off the alarm in the event you would like to leave your house armed. We will reset the alarm when we leave.
We will contact you to reschedule your appointment if necessary. We will endeavor to accommodate your needs when rescheduling. Please contact us to discuss the various options.
Payment is due on the day of cleaning; we accept E-Transfers, cheques and cash.
Not a problem, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible, preferably 48 hours notice so that we can adjust our schedule. We understand that life can get in the way and be very hectic. We work with you to ensure your necessary rescheduling is accomplished at no charge to you. We welcome you as part of our family and treat you as such.
Our regular workdays are from 9:00/9:30am to 5:00/6:00pm. Sometimes it is not possible to arrive at exact time of an appointment (some jobs run over or traffic is a problem, etc), but we will make every effort to ensure that we arrive as close to the booked time as possible. If the cleaners are early or delayed more than 90 minutes due to travel or project overtime we will contact you.
Although we take the most care when cleaning your home, sometimes accidents do happen. If breakage or damage happens as a result of our cleaning we will make every effort to have the item repaired or replaced if repairing is not possible. If repairing is not possible we will ask you how you would prefer to rectify the situation.
Nothing, the cleaning crew are quite willing to tidy as well as clean. But if you would prefer that they use their time more efficiently doing the “cleaning” rather than spending valuable time picking up, you should pick up any clothing, toys, and miscellaneous clutter before they come.
We guarantee all cleanings to be highly efficient. Please call us if you are unhappy with the quality of our work within 24 hours following the cleaning. We will discuss each individual situation and come to a satisfactory resolution.

If you prefer, we would be most happy to work with your products – otherwise we supply everything. When requested, we will make beds up with new bedding. Please leave the new set of sheets on top of the bed to be revitalized.
Yes we use 90% fragrance free, non-toxic and eco-friendly cleaning products and supplies. On the whole, except when the situation requires extra cleaning power. In some situations the homeowner will request specialty products to be used.

Yes. Refer a friend as a regular customer and, after the new client has had their third clean get two hours off of YOUR next clean as a thank you.
No. We realize life sometimes can get in the way of booked appointments and are most pleased to be flexible. Charging our clientele goes against our principals. We treat you like we would like to be treated in the same situation.

- Empty garbage and replace liner bags
- Bed making – if you would like any of the beds changed, simply set out folded sheets (on the beds needing changing).
- Dishes hand washed or machine loaded/unloaded
- Windows inside and out (if accessible)
- Organize and clean storage areas and closets
- Folding laundry
- We also offer to help you pack/unpack your kitchen, bathroom, dining room, etc with the materials that you provide.
- Insides of fridge, freezer, or oven, and for a special treat if you would like a few of your interior cupboards or drawers cleaned and organized we would be happy to do so either a few at a time or all at once
